How to write a Great Story (Narrative Writing)

I created this multi-page note to help give my students an overview of the important elements of narrative (creative) writing. It covers the fundamental elements of a good story (setting, characters etc.), story structure (Particularly how to give your story a well crafted beginning and ending), story planning strategies, and literary techniques that can be used to make a story more interesting. Hope you find it useful! I get my classes to refer back to this whenever we do a creative writing task.

Can be used with any age group but I created it for my secondary classes (Grade 7-9)
