The number games resource includes a variety of number games to consolidate number concepts (1 to 10) and encourage the correct formation of numbers.
Number sense is a group of skills that allow kids to work with numbers. It includes skills like
Understanding quantities.
Ability to rote count
Form numbers correctly
Grasping concepts like more and less, and larger and smaller.
Understanding symbols that represent quantities (7 means the same thing as seven).
Making number comparisons (10 is greater than 7)
Understanding the order of numbers in a list: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

The number games resource includes a variety of number games to consolidate number concepts and encourage the correct formation of numbers. It consists of a variety of activities with semi-concrete games and a variety of worksheets to consolidate early learning. It has the added benefit of including some gross-motor, fine motor activities to support motor skill development. The resource can be used in group activities/ math centers in the classroom or for parents who want to develop number sense in a fun and playful way

This resource is intended for early learning from age 4. 5, and older. It can be used as a remedial intervention for older children with specific learning difficulties who struggle with number concepts and number formation.
