Each letter of the alphabet makes a different sound. But if you combine certain letters, it will make a completely new sound. If we combine the c and the h, it will change into a ch-sound or ch-phonic.
Now that you know how to make the ch-sound, you can build words. And then you can use those words to build some sentences.
The more you practice your sounds, words, and sentences, the better you will become at reading.
The resources include word reading activities, sentence reading activities, word cards, sound cards, picture cards, classroom posters, homework reading card, complete plan on how to present this lesson and much more.
