Resources to use for READING PROGRAM: Grade 1 Lesson 17 – ee and oo phonic
To learn and to read can be fun. In order to learn any new thing, you have to keep your brain active. Make use of activities that have a huge impact on you and by repeating new concepts.
These worksheets according to the free YOUTUBE video explains the two different ways to make learning easier and introduces the ee and the oo phonics in a very interesting way. The oo and ee phonics are put into words and the kids can read these words by participating in a fun game of hopscotch.
The words are used to build sentences and the kids can hop and turn with bunny to read the sentences in a fun way.
There are soundcards (big and small) to use for hopscotch games as well as word building. These sound cards are coloured so that you won’t get confused while using them. There are also word cards to cut and build your sentences so that you can read them aloud.
