Write A Story Called ‘The Day I Changed My Mind’

Read the story of Amir’s first birthday. The child is asked to read the writer’s plan and then help him complete his story in three paragraphs. Now they are asked to think of a family event they have been to and to write a recount or a story about what happened. Make sure the story has a beginning, a middle and an ending.

This series provides prompts to get the child to write. It provides starting points to encourage children of all abilities to write – even the most reluctant writers. With this series they will be inspired to write stories, poems, play scripts, diaries, reports, persuasive leaflets and more.
